President of the Kreisman Group, Steven Kreisman began his career with a national accounting firm, yet quickly discovered he was an entrepreneur at heart. A Denver native, Steven formed a CPA firm in 1971 (the predecessor of The Kreisman Group). Today, he continues to set the gold standard for in-depth accounting advice, strategic business consulting, and long-term relationships with clients.

Clients value Steven as a trusted, honest, assertive, and confident advisor. Steven’s expertise includes estate planning, business valuation, wealth strategies, and consulting with and monitoring your investment advisors.

In fact, Steven has been recognized in 2011 – 2013 in 5280 Magazine and Colorado Biz Magazine as a trustworthy business strategist, celebrity and family dynamics specialist, and highly experienced CPA specializing in working with clients who have complex tax, valuation, and wealth strategy needs.

Over the decades, Steven has worked with a wide variety of clients and, therefore, offers expertise and insight on a variety of industries, including real estate, home builders and other contractors, retail, celebrities, and auto dealerships. His solution-oriented approach allows him to collaborate with clients and coworkers to execute the best strategy possible to meet clients’ needs. Steven revels in strategizing the best course for each individual client, helping to ensure his clients achieve their personal and business goals.

Steven has served as chairman of the American Institute of CPAs Professional Liability Insurance Plan Committee and as a member of various committees of the Colorado Society of Certified Public Accountants. The author of several articles on tax law and reform, Steven often makes professional presentations and has been featured on television as a tax-planning expert.

Active in the community, Steven has devoted significant time to charitable and religious organizations. Ask about his hobbies, and Steven will share fascinating details about his collection of vintage Cadillacs and his model railroad collection, or the latest antics of his grandchildren.

jane-billingsJane Billings, MA

Always ready with a helping hand, Jane Billings assists The Kreisman Group with the many administrative aspects of this CPA firm. Her background is in public education where she began teaching language arts and speech at the secondary level. Later, she embarked on a career in school personnel administration and communication, including serving as a high school principal.

Thanks to her extensive background in working with people, Jane came to The Kreisman Group with an excellent skill set to team with our clients and coworkers. She notes that interacting with our clients and supporting their needs and goals is her specialty.

Jane loves reading, cooking, traveling, and the arts. Her true passion is her role as a grandmother and the joy that provides.
